It's getting to be that time of year when I start to look for a spring bag, in a light color that I can carry all season. It's important to think about the seasonality of your bag. Carrying a heavy, dark handbag with the lightweight pieces of the season will throw your look off and derail any thought you may have put into your outfit. How gorgeous is this Rachel Zoe tote? I like a big bag, with a zipper and an optional long strap so I can be hands free at the airport or with the kiddos.

Another thought but for a smaller frame is the Kate Spade Cobble Hill Little Minka. For me, the bigger bag looks like it's wearing me so this KS is more proportionate.
